Younger adults share tech skills. Older adults share a story, a perspective, a little wisdom. Both leave with something they didn’t have before.
Generation Exchange is a community of learning, compassion, and understanding. Rooted in a spirit of Christian service and open to everyone, people of all generations come together to share what we know, build confidence, and feel more connected.
Our story began with university workshops throughout Colorado. Today, we’re building the next chapter with our community in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Older Adults Mentees:
Pair up with a patient volunteer Mentor, bring your own devices, and ask the questions that matter to you. All questions are welcome.
Help your Mentor with whatever unique skills or expertise you bring to the table.
Younger Adult Mentors:
If you’re comfortable with everyday technology and enjoy helping people, you are the perfect fit to volunteer with us.
Show an older adult how to send an email, text a photo, or FaceTime their grandkids. Troubleshooting is part of the process! No experience required.
Gain insight, expertise, or advice from the older person you pair with.
