Generation Exchange holds free workshops on college campuses that help adults over 40 (Mentees) gain greater confidence and comfort with the technology in our lives.
The Ultimate Connectors
Student volunteers (Mentors) help Mentees discover ease in the worlds of email, video chat, social media, file creation and organization, photo sharing, the cloud, and more. Mentees and Mentors are paired one-on-one for two hours. Mentees can ask any question about any device, app, or technology skill : there is no curriculum!
Mutually Beneficial
While the Mentee gains confidence, knowledge and relations, the volunteer Mentor gains from the wisdom, life experience, and connections of their Mentee. Mentors often benefit from insights on careers, life experience, or anything else non-technology related.
